We are based in Cohuna, situated on the Murray River, in Northern Victoria, just a short drive from Echuca, the region boasts an idyllic natural environment with stunning waterways and tranquil bushland.

The Position:

As a Project Manager at AWMA, you will manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring successful delivery in accordance with our Integrated Management System (IMS). You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, contractors, and clients to meet project goals. This role demands a hands-on approach to managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, and maintaining excellent client relationships.

As you will be working on fully customised products for each project, there will be a high-level of stakeholder management required for this role, so strong attention to detail and communication skills are a must. Importantly, AWMA is looking for a personable team player who will work well within the existing team and collaborate as required to get the best results for clients.

The role:

  • Take ownership of allocated projects, ensuring detailed understanding of client requirements, costings, timelines, and contractual obligations.
  • Support completion of solutions to ensure successful delivery of the project.
  • Manage project resources across design, manufacturing, and installation phases.
  • Oversee project installations and collaborate with AWMA’s installation contractors.
  • Deliver projects within budget and deadlines, while meeting quality and safety standards.
  • Provide post-project reports on costs, timelines, and resource allocations to identify improvement opportunities.

What you will bring to this role:

  • 3+ years in a similar role
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skill
  • Strong time management skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to develop solutions for clients based on project specific requirements
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the manufacturing industry would be an advantage
  • Strong customer service focus
  • A reliable and strong drive to succeed
  • Monitor and control the quality of your own work
  • Self motivation and able to persevere when obstacles emerge

Some travel will be required as part of this role and a current driver’s license is essential.
