Sun-power circumnavigation success
Solar Impulse has landed in Abu Dhabi, becoming the first aircraft to travel around the world without expending a drop of fuel.
Co-pilot Bertrand Piccard took the plan on its last leg from Cairo to the UAE.
Piccard and Swiss compatriot Andre Borschberg took turns on the 40,000 km circumnavigation.
The 17-leg voyage began in Abu Dhabi on 9 March last year, taking in four continents, three seas and two oceans.
