ABOUT THE ROLE 

This role will focus on delivery of Council's Get Active Moreland Enhancement Program, a grant funded project Victorian Government’s Community Sports Infrastructure Stimulus Program.

Totalling over $2mil worth of works, the role involves design, procurement and delivery of concrete circuit paths, outdoor fitness equipment, BBQs, picnic shelters, furniture, water drinking fountains and other open space infrastructure across eight sites. This role requires design expertise and project management experience in a local government, open space setting.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE

  • Tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture or similar discipline is essential.
  • Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and other design packages essential is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently work independently with clear evidence of experience in all aspects of open space project delivery
  • Demonstrated experience in contractor management including procurement of open space infrastructure.
  • Current driver’s license.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in local government setting is preferable
