What you’ll do:
- Review current processes and identify opportunities to develop a clear vision and establish solutions that optimise outcomes and adds value, in collaboration with the business.
- Facilitate workshops to analyse, integrate, redesign and document processes across Customer Operations and other internal stakeholders in accordance with the WaterNSW process frameworks and standards.
- Support the monitoring and reporting of progress and health status of all projects owned by Customer Operations.
- Partner with business process owners to design and improve development of effective business processes that support regulatory changes.
- Analyse and report key business data linked to various regulatory reform projects for consumption by WaterNSW and key agencies to track project performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with teams within WaterNSW and agencies that are impacted by non-urban metering reforms to enable efficient collaboration when designing and implementing business change.
- Support the broader teams in their activities with Duly Qualified Persons (DQPs) as subject matter expert.
What we are looking for:
- Knowledge in Problem solving techniques (i.e. Root cause analysis), Continuous improvement tools and techniques (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma) and Business process management (BPM) tools and techniques (Process Development) and Basic project management skills (Planning and task management).
- Prior experience working with Metering related processes in a utilities environment with a deep understanding of the subject matter.
- Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar qualification or extensive experience as a business analyst.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
- Ability and willingness to travel/ conduct site visits as per business requirements.
- Experience in identifying and resolving complex issues while managing change resistance.
- Extensive experience in the development and improvement of business processes using a systematic and quality controlled approach.
