About the role:
Reporting to the Area Commander, the Manager Community Risk is responsible for leading, promoting and supporting strategic organisational programs to reduce risk to the community from bush fire and other emergencies.
Located in Tamworth, a vibrant regional city with over 60,000 people calling it home. Tamworth provides access to all essential health, education and community services; a strong sporting culture offering a range of sports; a thriving arts and cultural scene; and a lively nightlife with plenty of restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. Only 3 hours to Newcastle and the coast, 5 hours to Sydney by car and daily direct flights to Sydney and Brisbane.
As our ideal candidate, you will:
Work in collaboration with the Area Commander, Functional managers, District Managers and staff, and stakeholders to ensure successful operational outcomes across the North Western Area, which is one of seven Area Commands across NSW RFS.
