Based in South Australia or Tasmania, this role will include opportunities to work locally, as well as on exciting projects across Australia, depending on how much you love to travel and work in diverse locations. Based on your work-life balance desires, flexible working conditions can be negotiated.

You will be predominantly based in one of our friendly and professional offices, however, depending on the mix of projects you are working on at the time, there will be opportunities to get out in the field and interact face to face with a range of clients.

Who are we looking for?
Pinion Advisory is looking for a client focused, commercially oriented consultant, with a strong sustainability background.

Examples of the technical skill sets we are looking for include:

  • Sustainable agriculture
  • Carbon farming techniques
  • Carbon accounting
  • Project management
  • ESG
  • Materiality assessment
  • Climate adaptation strategies
  • Sustainability framework knowledge
  • Agricultural systems understanding and experience
  • Large industry project design and delivery
  • Agricultural extension program development and/or delivery
  • Presentations to varied audiences.

(Note: we do not expect you to have experience in all these areas)

For success in this role, you will require:

  • Technical skills and experience that include sustainable agriculture, carbon farming, carbon accounting and project management
  • Minimum of three years of demonstrated experience in a similar (or relevant) role
  • Tertiary qualification relevant to the technical scope of the role (e.g. environmental, agricultural or natural resource science, etc.)
  • Experience in business development and project management
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
  • High level of computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated alignment to the company philosophy – its’ vision, goals and culture
  • Good knowledge of general workplace health and safety requirements, risk assessment and risk management
  • Current driver’s licence.
