About the Position

This permanent, full time position involves a broad range of duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for large projects, including creating proposals, setting cost and time budgets, invoicing and meeting project costs and time budgets.
  • Act as primary contact client, develop strong client relationships, manage and meet client expectations, and ensure deliverables are consistent with Resolve’s standards and client satisfaction.
  • Responsible for overseeing the successful, completion of field work programs. Coordinate field staff and ensure that all understand the project’s goal and scope thoroughly prior to engaging in field activities.
  • Oversee Project Managers and Environmental Scientists and mentor and supervise junior staff in areas of fieldwork, report writing and proposal review.
  • Mentoring junior staff in fieldwork and reporting
  • Coordinate sub-contractors for environmental assessment activities (drillers, service locators etc).
  • General business and administrative duties.

About You

The ideal candidate will demonstrate; the ability to work effectively in a range of challenging environments, problem solving skills and the ability to consistently achieve outcomes within budget and to a high standard. 

Being committed to building relationships and providing a high level of service to all stakeholders is essential to the role.

Key knowledge and skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead and work well within a team, and autonomously
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements
  • Excellent time management 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite

To be eligible to apply you must:

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or similar.
  • A minimum of 8 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in Environmental Consulting.
  • Current Australian drivers’ licence.
  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
