Location: Parramatta
Salary Range: starting from $95,764 Base + Super 
Tenure: Permanent, Full Time

What we are looking for:

  • A strong desire to contribute your skills and expertise in supporting water management. 
  • Someone who is of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent / identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and is accepted as such by the community in which they were born, has lived or currently lives 
  • A commitment to promoting and preserving Aboriginal culture and value
  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordination of Projects/Programs/Events.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in working effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Structured and organised approach in administering information and documentation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of record keeping systems and MS Office.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence

What you will work on: 

  • Coordinate administrative business and support functions of the team in an accurate, compliant and timely manner, including team meetings, events and travel.
  • Provide accurate and timely program/project support by maintaining relevant information systems to ensure timely processing of purchase orders, invoices, budget reconciliations and support for vendor management.
  • Monitor, administer and triage information from relevant portals, shared team inbox,  MS Teams and other systems.
  • Assist with operational day to day requirements to ensure compliance with requirements of policy and procedure, legislation and technical and government guidelines.
  • Manage and track team’s input to external developments, proposals and stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support in the collation and development of internal and external reports, papers and presentations.
  • Support with data management, project management tools, databases, dashboards and record keeping.

WaterNSW operates the state’s dams, capturing and storing water, and then supplying it ready for distribution – for the environment, agriculture, industry and the community. With 41 major dams and hundreds of waterways across the state, we play a vital role at the source of the state’s water, delivering two thirds of all water used in NSW
