Main Highlights
- Provide services, and advice, on land survey requirements associated with survey plan approvals; land titling and developments; and the interpretation of land survey and tenure records.
- Maintain land survey, parcel, tenure records, plans and data using relevant applications, systems and databases.
- Preparation of land survey correspondence and data, including assessments and reports associated with survey plan approvals, land parcels, and land tenure records.
- Support effective communication with team, industry and land professionals.
Apply your practical knowledge and operational experience in land administration, titling or survey; and geospatial information management to provide accurate and timely advice or services on related matters.
The Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics (DIPL) was established in 2016 to bring together many of the key functions that drive land use, infrastructure and transport. As a Senior Land Information Officer, deliver land survey advice and services, on statutory survey requirements, survey plan assessments, and land developments. Applying your communication and geospatial skills you will also be responsible for preparing administrative and technical reports, as well as ensuring the integrity of relevant textual and geospatial databases or systems.
To be successful you require demonstrated capability in assessing and critically evaluating land survey and tenure records; preparation of reports, maps, as well as using and maintain survey geospatial information in applications, databases or systems. You will also need the ability to interactive effectively in a team, and with a range of people from diverse backgrounds.
