Power and Water Corporation is a Northern Territory Government (NTG) owned utility that operates across a geographic area of 1.3 million square kilometres and within a range of diverse environmental conditions, ranging from the arid dry of the central desert to the tropical monsoon of the top end. The corporation generates, transmits, and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory (NT) for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.

We are looking for a Water Demand Data Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established water efficiency team that are dedicated to advancing water efficiency across Darwin and remote communities in the Northern Territory. As a Water Data Analyst, you’ll manage and analyse water use data, helping to design and report on impactful programs that drive real water savings. You’ll take the lead on digital metering projects, develop customer-focused solutions, and ensure data integrity and quality across all initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of our Water Efficiency Portfolio while delivering insights that directly contribute to sustainable water management.

We’re looking for someone with a strong background in data analysis, with experience in managing large datasets and delivering clear, actionable insights. Proficiency in statistical evaluation, data visualisation tools, and dashboard creation is essential, along with the ability to lead complex customer focused projects. Strong communication skills are critical, as the role involves translating technical data into plain English for diverse stakeholders and integrating customer feedback into program designs. Additionally, expertise in data governance, quality assurance, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving will ensure success in this role.
