How you will make contributions that matter

As part of the reliability team, you will be a key member of our plant operations, responsible for managing wastewater and ensuring environmental compliance at our Burnie site.

• Operate and manage the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), including sampling, monitoring, and testing.
• Ensure daily operations comply with local authority and legislative requirements.
• Identify and help implement opportunities for process improvements through various projects.
• Report environmental incidents and performance data.
• Collaborate with other departments to support the development and maintenance of environmental systems.

About you

• Qualifications in water / wastewater operations, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Sound understanding of environmental regulatory requirements and regulatory monitoring.
• Experience in process knowledge and operating SCADA/ SAP is desirable.
• Competent in using Microsoft programs.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to think critically and plan activities effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
